Gunfight in Budgam: Two militants killed

Srinagar: Two militants were killed and three ary men injured after a gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Chatergam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday early morning.

Reports reaching  said that two militants and three armymen were injured after a joint team of army’s 50RR, CRPF and SOG cordoned off Chatergam village during the dead of the night.

A senior Police official confirmed that two militants were killed and three army men were injured during the exchange of fire.

However, the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained, the official added.
