Srinagar: Seven civilians have been killed in clashes with government forces in pulwama post gunfight in which three militants and an Army man was killed. 

With another civilian admitted at SMHS hospital in Srinagar who succumbed to injuries, has taken the civilian death toll to seven in southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The slain has been identified as Touseef Ahmad Mir son of Asadullah Mir of Urchersoo Pulwama. Touseef was injured in forces action in Sirnoo and was taken to district hospital Pulwama where from he was referred to SMHS Srinagar, however, he succumbed due to grave injuries.

The killing of Mir has taken the civilian death toll to seven while three militants and an army man were killed during the encounter.
