Srinagar, Jan 05 : Forces on Saturday night launched a cordon-and-search operation area of Ananthnag in south Kashmir.
Reports said a joint team of army’, and special operation group of police (SOG) laid a siege at Mehind Sirgafara area of Bijbehara late today evening.
Local reports said, forces conducted door to door search operation in the area.
Meanwhile officials while confirming this nocturnal CASO said that the cordon was launched following inputs about the movement of some suspected militants.
