Sopore girl tries to end her life after failing In 12th exam

Sopore, Jan 08 : A 19-year-old student allegedly committed suicide by jumping in river jehlum at Chankhan area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday for failing the Class XII examination.

According to reports she took the extreme step this morning after she failed in class 12th examination.

Reports said that she was saved there by some fishermen and was rushed to Sub District hospital Sopore where she is under treatment.

Hospital authorities while confirming this news and identified her as Mariya Bashir daughter of Bashir Ahmad resident of Batpora Sopore. Authorities said that she took extreme step after she failed in class 12th examination.

Meanwhile police took cognizance of this incident.

Pertinently on late last night result for 12th Class for winter zone was declared.
