Throat-slit body of man found in Batote

 

Jammu, Jan 13 : A throat-slit body of a man was found inside his home at Chakwa area of Batote in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that the body of the man, in his late thirties, has been found in mysterious circumstances and investigations have been launched into the incident.
Official sources told GNS that the body of Parshotam Chand son of Madan Lal of Chakwa Batote was recovered in his residence after receiving information about the same.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban, Anita Sharma told GNS that the body has been recovered under the suspicious circumstances and inquest proceedings under 174 CrPc have been initiated.
“Investigations would reveal everything,” the police officer added. (GNS)
