CRPF man injured in Tral encounter succumbs in AIIMS

Srinagar, Jan 14 : A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man who was injured earlier this month during gunfight in South Kashmir’s Tral village succumbed to his injuries on Monday at AIIMs hospital in Delhi.

Reports said that a CRPF man who was injured in an encounter at Aripal Tral on 5th January succumbed to his injures today after being hospitalised at AIIMS Delhi for 9 days.

A CRPF official also confirmed this news and identified deceased as Mahesh Kumar of 180 Battalion of CRPF.

Pertinently he was shifted to Udhampur Base command Hospital in critical condition where from he was refrerred to AIIMS.
