National Highway Traffic: Traffic To Ply From Jammu To Srinagar

Press Release

As per the advisory issued by MeT Deptt. there may be chances

of heavy snowfall/rain in J&K may lead to disruption on
NHW-44. Therefore subject to fair weather/road condition

From Jammu towards Srinagar.
One way for both LMV’s/HMV’s

CUT OFF TIMING:

LMVs
From ( Nagrota) Jammu- from 0500 hrs. to 0900 hrs.
From ( Jakheni) Udhampur from 0600 to 1000 hrs.
No LMVs shall be allowed from ( Nagrota) Jammu and
( Jakheni) Udhampur after cut off timings.

HMVS/LOAD CARRIERS
Decision regarding movement of HMVs from Jakheni (Udhampur)
towards Srinagar shall be taken after assessing the weather/road
condition.

Mughal Road/ Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari Road
Continuously Closed due to snow accumulation.

ADVISORY
The commuters are advised not to travel during night hours.
No movement of any type of vehicle shall be allowed from
opposite direction.
People are advised to undertake journey on NHW only after
confirming status of the road from below mentioned phone Nos
