Training on EVM-VVPAT, VVIP imparted to BAGs, Political Parties at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 13:  In order to spread electoral literacy among the voters, a training cum awareness programme on EVM-VVPAT and Voters Verification and Information (VVIP) Campaign for BAGs and representatives of Political parties of the district was organised under SVEEP here today.

While interacting with the participants, District Election Oooficer, Angrez Singh Rana, asked them to get acquainted with the handling procedure and various aspects of the machines. He asked them to further disseminate knowledge about the information gained in this programme among their brethren.

ADC Kishtwar, Pawan Parihar, who also spoke on the sunject, asked all the BLOs to ensure 100 per cent error free electoral roll.

Nodal Officer SVEEP, DPO Kishtwar, Sunil  Bhutyal educated the participants about SVEEP Programme, toll free helpline number 1950 ,www.nvsp.in website, voter helpline Mobile App besides throwing light on VVIP campaign.

He further informed that special Gram Sabhas on VVIP shall be conducted at grass root level on 16th, 19th, 23th, 25th, 28th of February by the RDD department.

He instructed the BLOs to ensure that two special camps shall be conducted on 24th Feb and 10th March pertaining to VVIP campaign at booth level.

Master trainers imparted training to the participants about handling of EVM-VVPAT and various aspects in practical manner and through Audio Visual mode.

Meanwhile, similar training sessions were held at all tehsil Headquarters of the district.

Among others present were, ALMTs, members of BAGs and representative of Political parties.
