Srinagar,Feb 18 : One more militant was killed in an ongoing gunfight at Pingalan area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday late night, taking the death toll to nine.

Arms & ammunition recovered. Case registered. @JmuKmrPolice @PIBHomeAffairs (sic),” Police wrote on Twitter.Pertinently, the DIG Kumar has also received bullet injuries oh thigh during the gunfight.
Earlier, four army personnel, two militants and a civilian were killed during the encounter. While several forces personnel including army brigadier and DIG police south Kashmir received injuries.
