Massive throng at slain JeM militant’s funeral in Sopore, laid to rest amid ‘pro-freedom’ slogans

Sopore, March 28 : A massive throng was witnessed at the funeral prayers of slain Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM ) militant Danish Ahmed Dar at his native village Saidpora Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday evening.
Danish was slain in a gunfight with government forces in Yaroo Langate village of Handwara on Thursday.
Reports reaching said thousands of people poured onto the streets of Sopore village, when the body of slain militant Danish Ahmed Dar, reached home.
Eyewitness said thousands turned up for the funeral prayers. Women and children too have assembled in the area from different villages of Apple town.
Danish was laid to rest at the martyrs’ graveyard at Saidpora, after funeral prayers in which thousands of people participated.
