Governor Malik inaugurates Jehangir Chowk-Rambagh flyover Phase-II

 

Srinagar, May 22, : Jehangir Chowk-Rambagh Phase-II flyover was thrown open for traffic on Wednesday morning.

The second phase of Jehangir-Chowk-Rambagh flyover was inaugurated Governor Satya Pal Malik in presence of other government officials.

The Jehangir Chowk-Rambagh flyover was named as expressway after its foundation was laid by former chief minister Omar Abdullah in 2013.

The flyover is the longest flyover in Jammu and Kashmir aimed at improving traffic movement for the uptown areas.

The Phase-II includes the area from Rambagh to Alochi Bagh.The flyover stretch has been constructed at a cost of 37.5 crore rupees.
