Man detained following recovery of AK ammunition in Vilgam

Srinagar, July 27 : Government forces on Saturday detained a man following recovery of some ammunition in a vegetable garden during cordon in Vilgam area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Reports reaching said that one AK-magazine along with 27 rounds were recovered from a vegetable garden during the cordon today.

One person was detained by police in connection with the recovery, they said.

A police officer said that a case has been registered and further investigations taken up. (GNS)
