2G Mobile Internet Services Restored In Kashmir

The Jammu and Kashmir administration restored 2G mobile internet services on postpaid as well as prepaid phones in the Kashmir Valley today.


According to order issued by home department of the Jammu and Kashmir administration reads that Access shall be limited only on whitelisted sites and social media applications will continue to remain out of bounds for the people in Jammu and Kashmir.


This has been a long pending demand of Kashmiris especially the student community since the abrogation of Article 370 on August 05 2019.


Due to the internet shutdown not only the essential services , business community and the media houses suffered but the entire student community in the Jammu and Kashmir were taken aback in absence of the internet facility.
