Employees to donate day’s salary to govt’s relief fund: EJCC

Srinagar, March 29: Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) – an amalgam of various employees’ association of J&K – has decided to donate one day salary towards the J&K Government’s Relief Fund.

Chairman EJCC Ajaz Ahmad Khan told the decision was unanimously made by the committee’s core group.

Other core group members include Ajaz Makhdoomi president, Sajad Khawaja general secretary, Showkat Bhat secretary, and Ishtiaq Beigh senior vice president.

EJCC has urged the Lt. Governor, Chief Secretary and Secretary Finance to issue directions in this regard to all drawing and disbursing officers of the UT.

Ajaz Khan also said the government employees especially doctors, FCS&CA, municipal committee workers are doing a commendable job at this time of medical emergency and crisis.

He also emphasised upon all the employees of the UT to come forward generously to help out the needy persons at this crucial time. (GNS)
