Those quarantined at Surankote say they are kept in ‘hell’

Poonch, Mar 31 : Many people quarantined at Government Degree College Surankote have complained of shortage of basic facilities.

“No official has met us yet. Many among us sleep on floor, and there is also shortage of blankets. Overall, we are not being treated as humans here,” the sources available with news agency quoted the quarantined persons as saying.

Those in isolation here are mostly laborers who had returned from other places.

As per sources, they are not even given proper meals and have termed the quarantine centre the “hell”.

The quarantined persons have urged the DC Poonch to visit the centre and take first-hand account of their “plight”. (GNS)
