CFV in Poonch, Rajouri districts, no loss of life, property

Jammu, Apr 16 : A ceasefire violation took place in Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu region on Thursday but there was no report of any loss of life or property.

Officials told news agency—, that on April 16 morning Pakistani army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation along LoC in Qasba and Kirni Sectors in district Poonch by firing with small arms.

“Later at about 11:45 am, Pakistan resorted to another ceasefire violation along LoC in Nowshera Sector in district Rajouri by firing with small arms and shelling with mortars,” officials told.

They said that Indian army retaliating in the both sectors. “There was no loss of life or property in any of the CFV,” they said—(KNO)
