Elderly man found dead in Sopore

Sopore, April 16 : An elderly man was found dead in north Kashmir’s Sopore village on Thursday.

An official said the a dead of an elderly man was spotted at Poru river near Seelu village this afternoon by some locals.

On getting information from locals, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body.

A police officer told Kashmir Indepth that the body has been recovered under mysterious conditions. “A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations initiated in this regard.
The officer identified deceased as Firdous Ahmad Najar son of Ali Mohammad Najar of Waroora Balla.
