COVID-19 : Five more test positive in J-K, tally rises to 879

Srinagar, May 11 : Five more tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday taking the total toll of this deadly virus in the Union Territory to 879.

A health official told news agency KINS, that this evening five more persons tested positive for COVID-19 among four are from Jammu while one from Kashmir.

The officer said in Kashmir fresh positive case of COVID-19 which was reported this evening is from Baramulla district, while four persons who are Jammu and Kautha.

Earleir this day 13 were tested positive among two were 11 were from Kashmir while two Jammu residents.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir stands now at 879.

Pertinently, A quinquagenarian from Alamrgari Bazar Srinagar became the fresh victim of the dreaded disease in Kashmir Valley on Monday, taking the toll in Jammu and Kashmir to ten.
