‘Several measures in place for prevention, containment, management of COVID-19, ‘Over 91,000 people recover from virus’: Union Health Ministry

Srinagar, June 1 (KINS): The number of patients affected by COVID-19 in the country has climbed to 1, 90,535 while the death toll rose to 5,394.

According to news agency KINS, the Health Ministry data given Monday morning said, the number of active cases of COVID-19 stood at 93,322. As many as 91,819 people have been cured”

It is to mention here that the union Health Ministry had Sunday said that the recovery rate of patients from COVID-19 infection has now gone up to 47.76 per cent.

The Ministry has further said that the government has taken several steps along with the States and Union territories for prevention, containment and management of COVID-19.”These are being regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level” the Health Ministry had said. (KINS)
