Advisor Farooq Khan condoles demise of MIER Chairperson


Jammu Feb 01 (KINS): Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan, Monday condoled the demise of Dr. Arun K. Gupta, who was Chairperson of Board of Directors of Model Institute of Education and Research (MIER).
While expressing sympathies with the bereaved family,  Advisor said that demise of Gupta is a big loss to the field of education as he was deeply wedded to the cause of quality education, research and training for the last 50 years as Educator and Researcher.
Advisor prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Pertinent to mention that Arun K. Gupta was twice selected for “National Award” by the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training), Delhi.  He was also the North India and J&K State Chancellor for the International Association of Educators for World Peace (IAEWP). He was a Fellow of United Writers Association of India and an alumnus of International Visitorship Programme of US Government. (KINS)
