DDC Kulgam reviews Mahashivratri arrangements


Kulgam Feb 22 (KINS): The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat Monday convened a meeting of officers to finalize arrangements for Mahashivratri celebrations in the district.
The DDC directed the concerned to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply, adequate rations at Vessu Migrant Colony, Manzgam, Kulgam, Chawalgam and other habitations of the pandit community in the district.
Assistant Director Fisheries was directed to keep Trout Fish available by establishing sale outlets at various locations in the district.
The Area Marketing officer was directed to ensure availability of vegetables and Walnuts and the Chief Medical officer was directed to make arrangements of medical facilities and availability of ambulances at all locations.
EOs were directed to ensure proper sanitation at all temples and all officers were directed to ensure proper arrangements at all places.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, SP-Kulgam,
CMO, Engineers of PDD and PHE, AD FCS&CA, CHO, EOs and representatives of the pandit community. (KINS)
