Modalities for registration of Clinical establishments discussed at G’bal

Ganderbal March 02 (KINS): To start the process of registration of Clinical establishments and Diagnostic centers in the district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal, who is also the Chairman, District Registering Authority of Clinical Establishments/Diagnostic centers today convened a meeting of designated officers of the committee to discuss the modalities for their registration.
At the onset of the meeting, the committee discussed modalities for initiating registration of Clinical establishments and Diagnostic centers under Clinical Establishment Act 2010(UT). During the meeting, the opinion and advice of all the committee members was sought in detail for fresh registration and renewal of registration of various Clinical establishments and Diagnostic centers.
The DC stressed on initiating the process of receiving files for registration under new rules and directed the CMO to ensure constituted inspection teams do carry inspection of such Clinical establishments in the district before issuing registration.
He also asked the CMO to open a separate Bank Account for PCPNDT and update the committee with regard to proper maintenance of the accounts under the said account.
For starting registration under new rules, the DC directed the CMO to issue a circular to all Clinical establishments and Diagnostic centers of the district who are running their clinics without registration or whose registration stands expired to apply for registration within fifteen days.
The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer, Ganderbal, District Health Officer, Executive Officer, Municipal Council Ganderbal, Dy. SP HQ and other concerned. (KINS)
