DDC kick starts Plantation drive at Polytechnic College Kulgam


KULGAM, MARCH 05: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today kick started plantation drive at Government Polytechnic College, here.
The plantation drive was organized by the Social Forestry department (SFD).
On the occasion, it was informed that under JK-Green Drive 3.5 lac saplings of conifer, broad leaved, fruit bearing and ornamental plants will be planted in the district this season across government institutions and vacant forest land patches besides other places in the district.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Principal of the College along with other staff members, Range Officers besides students also participated in this plantation drive by planting saplings in College premises.
