The Jammu & Kashmir administration Tuesday transferred 34 bureaucrats in one of the biggest administrative reshuffles since August 2019 when the erstwhile state was stripped of its semi-autonomous status and split into two Union territories.
Sources claimed that there will be major reshuffle in the police administration in J&K and, IGP rank officers, several SSP’s and SP’s will get new place of postings.
“The exercise for a massive reshuffle in police administration has already been set into motion with the proposals being processed and finalized for the transfer of senior IPS officers holding key positions in the J&K Police,” sources said.
