DDC Shopian reviews implementation of SES
Stresses for their result oriented implementation


Shopian April 15 (KINS): The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today reviewed the implementation of Self Employment Schemes (SES) in the district and finalised a comprehensive youth engagement plan during a meeting of line departments.
The meeting discussed in detail various self employment avenues available under different government sponsored self employment schemes, the procedure adopted for coverage of skilled and semi skilled youth and targets vis-à-vis achievements during the previous financial year. 
The officers of all line departments were directed to chalk out a detailed schedule for carrying out joint awareness cum assessment camps throughout the district.
It was given out that 3 camps have already been conducted at Padder, D.K. Pora and Heerpora where profiling of local youth is done. Besides teams are also identifying the local potential which can be explored for engagement of youth. 
The DDC has instructed the line departments for better inter-departmental coordination to include only the genuine and deserving youth for sponsorship. He exhorted the teams to visit each panchayat/village in the district, involving public representatives and senior citizens to identify the youth for sponsorship.
Present in the meeting were GM DIC, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, AD Fisheries, AD Handloom & Handicrafts, District Nodal Officer EDI, Nodal Officer NRLM, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, District Officer KVIB, Director RSETI and Principal ITI and Lead Bank Manager.
