DC Kulgam reviews functioning of Revenue Department

KULGAM, AUGUST 26 ( KINS ) : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, today chaired a meeting of officers and took a detailed review of the functioning of the Revenue Department.

During the meeting, the DC took a detailed review of progress and deposition of Jamabandis, Girdawaries, Attestation of mutations and progress on eviction of encroachment from state, kahcharai, common land, Revenue Collection, status of Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).

While reviewing the progress on removal of encroachments, the DC exhorted upon the concerned officers to keep strict vigil to prevent encroachment on state and kahcharai land.He directed them to intensify anti-encroachment drives to retrieve the encroached land.

He also instructed for holding mutation camps for the attestation of Mutations.

The DC directed to strengthen the mechanism of the public delivery system and to mitigate issues and grievances on priority.

He also instructed the concerned to intensify verification of WAQF properties across the district.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mir Imtiyaz- ul- Aziz, all Tehsildars, Tehsildar Headquarter and other concerned officers/ officials attended the meeting.
