Army organises Qaumi Ekta meeting

 Rajouri, Sept 18 ( KINS ) : In continuation with the efforts to foster peace, communal harmony and prosperity in the region, Indian Army organised Qaumi Ekta Meeting at Anwas Bhandar, Naushera in district Rajouri (J&K). The event focused on implementation of series of measures aimed at containment of COVID-19. The guidelines on the subjects promulgated by state Government were explained to all for strict implementations. Participation of villagers opinion makers, Sarpanches and Numberdaars representing all communities was a welcome and positive step in controlling the prevailing threat. The Villagers were educated about the online procedures to register for vaccination drive via cowin.gov.in application. The meet was attended by large number of civillians from all the neighbouring villages. All attendees appreciated the efforts of Indian Army and showed enthusiasm towards their participation in Government initiatives against COVID-19.( KINS )
