LG Manoj Sinha spotlights narcotics, Psychological warfare as humanity’s foremost challenges

Srinagar, Oct 18: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha emphasizes the battle against narcotics and psychological Warfare as humanity’s top challenges.

Governor Manoj Sinha, while addressing the passing-out parade of 510 new Jammu and Kashmir Police recruits in the Sheeri area of Baramulla district, underscored that the greatest challenges facing humanity today are narcotics and psychological warfare.

He urged the police to adopt a zero-tolerance policy against subversive elements in the Union Territory, emphasizing the need for vigilance and strategic planning to effectively counter these threats.

Governor Sinha also highlighted the progress made by Jammu and Kashmir in various aspects over the past three years, including economic, social, and cultural development.

However, he noted the presence of disruptive elements seeking to hinder progress and stressed the importance of adopting a firm stance against them.

Sinha commended the Jammu and Kashmir Police for their resolute response to “terrorists” and the nation’s adversaries, while also paying homage to the police personnel who sacrificed their lives for the country.(KINS)
