No dearth of electricity in JK: LG Manoj Sinha

Srinagar Jan 06 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, said his personal oversight of daily electricity supply in the UT, ensuring repairs of damaged transformers within 24 hours.
Addressing a function in Srinagar he said that he monitors and get feedback on area-wise power supply.

“The damaged transformers are being repaired within 24 hours. There is no dearth of electricity in J&K,” he said.

He said Srinagar, under the leadership of outgoing SMC commissioner Athar Amir, is hailed as a role model for other Indian cities, undergoing significant transformation in the past two years. Sinha expressed pride in Srinagar’s emergence as one of the country’s best cities and highlighted the symbolic significance of the night of December 31 at Lal Chowk, signaling the region’s journey towards reviving its lost glory.
