PM Modi: ‘The Feeling of Coming to the Heaven on Earth is Beyond Words’ in Kashmir’

Srinagar, Mar 07: Addressing a gathering at the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir’ event held at Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his awe at the beauty of Kashmir, describing it as “heaven on earth.” He emphasized that the development projects being inaugurated today would significantly contribute to the progress of Jammu and Kashmir.
In his first rally in Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370, PM Modi reiterated his commitment to winning over the hearts of the people. He emphasized the importance of hard work and dedication in achieving this goal.
During the event, PM Modi engaged with beneficiaries from various districts, including Shopian, Jammu, Kupwara, Srinagar, Ganderbal, Bandipura, Kathua, and Kishtwar. One of the interactions was with Nazim, a beneficiary of the Viksit Bharat initiative, where PM Modi listened to his experiences and aspirations firsthand.
The event at Bakshi Stadium witnessed a blend of celebration and optimism as PM Modi’s presence underscored the government’s commitment to the holistic development of Jammu and Kashmir. The engagement with beneficiaries served as a testament to the transformative impact of development initiatives on the lives of the people in the region.
