Srinagar, Apr 01: As anticipation mounts for the impending Lok Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain underscores the security forces’ unwavering commitment to maintaining safety and security throughout the electoral process.
Speaking to reporters in Kathua district, DGP Swain assures, “The election process is underway, and we are implementing numerous measures to ensure safe and secure elections. Senior police officers are actively involved in planning, management, and coordination with central government and agencies to safeguard voters and candidates.”
