Srinagar, Apr 23: In a significant operation aimed at combating the menace of drug peddling, Jammu Police, under Operation Sanjeevani, executed a swift and decisive raid in the early hours of the morning at the Rajeev Nagar area, falling under the jurisdiction of the Bahu Fort Police Station. The crackdown targeted a notorious hotspot known for its illicit drug trade activities.
Led by the diligent officers of the Jammu South Police, the raid resulted in the apprehension of 13 individuals allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade. Acting swiftly on intelligence and evidence gathered over a period of time, law enforcement authorities stormed the area, swiftly apprehending those suspected of involvement in drug peddling.
Following their apprehension, the suspects were promptly processed and subsequently transferred to the Central Jail, pending further legal proceedings. The operation marks a significant victory for the Jammu Police in their ongoing efforts to curb the spread of narcotics and safeguard the community against the harmful effects of drug abuse.
