Chairperson Prof Rasmita Das Swain Inaugurates Smart Classes & Reception Centre at Police Public School Bemina

Srinagar, May 1, 2024: Prof. Rasmita Das Swain, Chairperson of the Management Committee of the J&K Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA) and J&K Police Public Schools, inaugurated smart classes and a reception center at the Police Public School Bemina.
The ceremony, held in the presence of Administrative Officer Sujit Kumar Singh IPS DIG CID Kashmir and Principal PPS Snigdha Singh, witnessed a gathering of individuals including PWWA members Eva Rayees, Pragati Pandey, Mehak Chakravarty, Sahar Zamil, Imtiyaz Ahmad SP (West), Shabeera Shabnum, Headmistress, and the entire staff of PPS, Bemina, Srinagar.
During the event, Prof. Rasmita Das Swain also dedicated three new school buses to the institution, underscoring the commitment to enhance transportation facilities for students. Additionally, she distributed 40 school kits to the wards of fallen heroes of Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirming the pledge to support families who have sacrificed for the nation.
The occasion was not only about infrastructure development but also a celebration of academic achievements. It served as the graduation ceremony for the children of the KG wing, a poignant moment honoring their educational journey.
In her address, Prof. Rasmita Das Swain praised the noble contributions of the fallen heroes of Jammu and Kashmir Police and assured continued support for their children’s education. She conducted a thorough review of the school’s operations and infrastructure, emphasizing the imperative of enhancing educational standards through the recruitment of quality teachers and the integration of advanced learning methodologies.
Furthermore, the Chairperson vowed to address the school’s demands for new projects such as a girls’ hostel, improved sports facilities, and state-of-the-art laboratories, thereby ensuring a conducive learning environment for all students.
Amidst accolades for the graduating students and appreciation for the dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, Prof. Rasmita Das Swain assured the audience of future endeavors to organize similar events, underscoring the commitment to holistic education.
In her closing remarks, she urged teachers to uphold academic commitments steadfastly, emphasizing the pivotal role they play in shaping the future generations of Jammu and Kashmir.
