Fake Summer Vacation Notice Circulates on Social Media, Authorities Urge Public to Verify Information

Srinagar, May 23: Directorate of School Education, Jammu, has confirmed that the circulating social media posts claiming summer vacations will commence on May 27th are completely unfounded.
The Director of School Education, Jammu, has not issued any such directive.
The false information has caused confusion among parents, students, and educators. The authorities have urged the public to disregard these rumors and rely only on official communications for accurate updates regarding school schedules.
In light of rising temperatures, the Directorate has released an advisory to help students and parents cope with the heat. They recommend staying hydrated, wearing light and breathable clothing, and avoiding outdoor activities during peak heat hours.
Authorities emphasize the importance of verifying information through credible sources before sharing it.
