Infiltration Bid Foiled, Three Terrorists Eliminated While Crossing LoC, Says Army

Srinagar, July 15: The Indian Army reported successfully thwarting an infiltration attempt by eliminating three hardcore foreign terrorists who were attempting to cross the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran Sector of Kupwara District, Jammu & Kashmir.
“On the night of July 13 and 14, acting on credible intelligence inputs, multiple ambushes were strategically placed along the anticipated infiltration route. On July 14, the ambush teams detected movement of three terrorists through dense foliage on the Indian side of the LoC.
The terrorists were challenged, resulting in an intense firefight. The exchange of gunfire led to the elimination of all three infiltrators. The Army recovered a significant cache of war-like stores from the site”.
“This successful intelligence-based operation showcases the effective coordination and synergy between the Indian Army, the Border Security Force (BSF), and the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP)”.
