Srinagar, July 17: ADGP Vijay Kumar emphasized on Wednesday that the Jammu and Kashmir Police is a professional, apolitical, and impartial force. Speaking to reporters, Kumar highlighted the force’s dedication to maintaining law and order without bias or political influence.
Kumar stated, “The J&K Police is a professional and impartial force, and it is apolitical.”
His comments are seen as a response to recent criticisms and accusations, particularly those targeting the Director General of Police (DGP).
During his visit to Zadibal to review the arrangements for the 10th Muharram procession, Kumar assured that all necessary preparations have been made to ensure the peaceful conduct of the processions.
