Srinagar, July 29: To review welfare measures and address the grievances of retired police personnel, SSP Budgam Nikhil Borkar-IPS chaired an interactive meeting at DPL Budgam.
Over 100 retired police personnel attended the meeting, along with Addl. SP Budgam, DySP DAR DPL Budgam, and other officers. SSP Budgam welcomed the participants, emphasizing that they remain integral members of the police organization and assured them that the J&K Police is always ready to provide assistance.
During the meeting, the retired officers raised various issues and proposed initiatives for improving post-service life. SSP Budgam assured them that their legitimate concerns and problems would be addressed promptly.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and the assurance that such meetings will be held regularly in the future to address the retirees’ grievances.
