Mubassir Latifi Promoted to DIG Rank in J&K Police DGP Honors Officer at Special Ceremony

Srinagar, August 22 (KINS): : Mubassir Latifi, an IPS officer, has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The formal promotion was marked by a simple piping ceremony at the Police Headquarters, where Director General of Police (DGP) R.R. Swain pinned the DIG insignia on Latifi. The event was also attended by ADGP (Headquarters & Coordination) M.K. Sinha.
DGP Swain praised Latifi for his hard work and dedication, congratulating him and his family on this significant career milestone. He expressed confidence that Latifi would continue to serve the department with commitment and excellence in his new role.
Recently, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued the order promoting Shri Mubassir Latifi to the position of Incharge DIG. He will now serve as DIG (Personnel) at Police Headquarters.(KINS)
