Dr. Jitendra Singh Slams Congress, NC for Push to Revive Article 370, Applauds PM Modi’s Women Empowerment Initiatives

Srinagar, Sep 06 (KINS):At a public rally in Hiranagar Jammu, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh took aim at Congress and the National Conference (NC), accusing them of attempting to revive Article 370, which he claimed would undermine the rights of women in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Congress and National Conference want to revive Article 370 and thereby deny equal rights to the daughters of Jammu and Kashmir,” Dr. Singh said during his speech, drawing strong applause from the crowd.
He contrasted this with the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the government’s commitment to empowering women through a series of initiatives.
“PM Narendra Modi not only rolled out a series of women-centric schemes like the Ujjwala Yojna, providing gas cylinders, and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, which ensures a pucca house in the name of the housewife, but also took the bold step of ensuring 1/3rd reservation for women in Parliament,” he added.
Dr. Singh’s remarks come as the Jammu
and Kashmir prepares for upcoming elections, with political discourse heating up around various issues.(KINS)
