IGP Kmr on Baramulla Encounter: ‘Operation ongoing, bodies sighted; forces remain vigilant against terrorists’

Srinagar, Sep 14 (KINS): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir provided a detailed update on the ongoing encounter in Baramulla district.
“The operation was initiated following specific intelligence inputs and is currently still in progress. After receiving inputs, the operation was launched, and it is continuing. Forces are focusing on the target structure and target area. Some bodies have been sighted, and we will share the full details about how many terrorists have been killed,” IGP told reporters as per news agency KINS.
He further stressed the commitment of the security forces to uphold peace in the region despite ongoing threats. “Terrorists are always bent on disturbing the peace, but our forces, along with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Army, are alert to foil such attempts,” IGP Kashmir added.
“Forces work diligently to neutralize the threat and secure the area. Further details will be released once the operation concludes and more information becomes available,”. (KINS)
