Jammu, Sept 15 (KINS): Several prominent leaders from various parties joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during an event held at the BJP Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu,BJP said.
The leaders pledged their full support to the party ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
As per the BJP statement, Union Minister and J&K Election Incharge, G. Krishna Reddy, J&K BJP Working President Sat Sharma, and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta welcomed the new members, stating that their inclusion would further strengthen the BJP in Jammu. Sat Sharma noted that people from all sections have been joining the BJP due to its welfare programs and development agenda.
Kavinder Gupta expressed confidence that the BJP is set to form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing the party’s commitment to development in contrast to the “destructive agenda” of the NC-Congress alliance. Among those who joined the BJP were Bhagwan Dass Sharma, Ashwani Kumar, Padam Dev Singh, and several other local leaders and community representatives.(KINS)
