Gaurav Gupta strongly condemns terrorist attack on army vehicle in Akhnoor, calls for vigilance amid rising threats across J&K

Srinagar , Oct 28 ( KINS) : BJP leader and former Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Gaurav Gupta, has issued a strong condemnation of the recent terrorist attack on an Army ambulance in the Akhnoor area of Jammu district. Expressing profound concern over the growing frequency of such incidents in the Union Territory, Gupta stressed the need for heightened vigilance and a united front among the people of Jammu and Kashmir to counter these increasing threats.
In a statement today, Gupta declared, “The heinous attack on an Army ambulance, a vehicle meant to save lives, underscores the vile mentality of those responsible for these despicable acts. Such attacks targeting our security forces are not only deplorable but a matter of grave concern. These acts of terror will not weaken our resolve; instead, they fortify our determination to uproot this menace.”
Gupta urged the people of Jammu & Kashmir UT to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity to the authorities, emphasizing that cooperation between citizens and security forces is critical in maintaining peace. “In these challenging times, the unity of our people is paramount. Together, we must remain alert, resilient, and proactive to prevent any further incidents and to uphold peace and stability in the region,” he stated.
Reaffirming the BJP’s unwavering support for the armed forces, Gupta commended their valor and dedication to safeguarding the nation. He urged both central and state authorities to take strict action to bolster security across Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring those behind such heinous crimes are brought to justice swiftly. Additionally, he appealed to the Lieutenant Governor’s administration to reinforce intelligence agencies to counter the nefarious designs of anti-national elements.
“The safety of our citizens and the security of our nation are of utmost importance, and every measure must be taken to protect them,” Gupta affirmed. “This recent attack serves as a stark reminder of the challenges we continue to face, but as a united front, we will stand resolute against terrorism.”( KINS)
