Srinagar , Nov 06 ( KINS) : The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly was adjourned for an hour today as opposition members continued their protest over the resolution passed by the Speaker on the restoration of the region’s special status. Although the speaker initially adjourned the session for 15 minutes, he returned and attempted to resume normal proceedings with a discussion on the motion of thanks for the Lieutenant Governor’s address.
However, the BJP, the main opposition party, persisted with its demonstrations, refusing to allow business to proceed. This led to further disruption, prompting the speaker to adjourn the session once again.( KINS)
