Two terrorist associates arrested in Bandipora; arms & ammunition recovered

Bandipora, March 13 (KINS): Police in Bandipora, along with security forces, have arrested two terrorist associates from the Hajin area and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.

Acting on specific intelligence, Bandipora Police, along with the Army’s 13 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and CRPF’s 45 Battalion, established a checkpoint at Gandbal-Hajin Road, where they apprehended the two individuals. The arrested persons have been identified as Naseer Ahmad Parray, son of Bashir Ahmad Parray, a resident of Kathpura Hajin, and Mudasir Ahmad Parray, son of Mohd Ramzan Parray, a resident of Gandbal Hajin.

During the search, security forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, including: Two Chinese grenades, 18 live rounds of AK-47, One AK-47 magazine, One pistol, Eight pistol rounds, One pistol magazine

Two mobile phones.

A case under FIR No. 20/2025 has been registered at Police Station Hajin under relevant sections of law, and further investigation is underway.(KINS)
