Police Attach Vehicle Used in Terror Activities Under UAPA in Budgam
Budgam, April 19(KINS): In a significant move to disrupt terror support networks, police in Budgam have attached a vehicle used in terror-related activities under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), 1967.
The vehicle, an Innova bearing registration number JK01AT-7604 (Engine No. EG4HJ17B4979, Chassis No. MD626EG40J1H49448), was linked to a terror module and was in possession of Mudasir Ahmad Rather, a resident of Kantbagh Kralpora, Budgam. The attachment was carried out under Section 25 of the UAPA in connection with FIR No. 151/2024, registered at Police Station Chadoora.
This action highlights the J&K Police’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and its support systems.
