BJP celebrates Deepawali with devotion and joy in Jammu

Srinagar, Oct 21 (KINS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu and Kashmir unit, celebrated Deepawali with great enthusiasm and devotion at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The event featured Vedic Aarti, the distribution of sweets, and the lighting of fireworks, creating a festive and spiritual atmosphere.

The celebration was led by J&K BJP President Sat Sharma (CA) and General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, along with senior party leaders including Priya Sethi, Rajiv Charak, Rekha Mahajan, Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Billawaria, Yudhvir Sethi, Ashwani Sharma, Surinder Ambardar, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, and others.

Extending his greetings, Sat Sharma said that Deepawali, celebrated on Kartik Amavasya, marks the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya, symbolising the victory of good over evil. He added that the festival also celebrates the divine incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi and wished everyone joy, prosperity, and happiness.

Sat Sharma also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s continued commitment to the welfare and progress of every citizen, saying that festivals remind people to rise above differences and live as one family united in love and harmony.

In his message, Ashok Koul greeted all BJP workers and citizens, saying that Deepawali inspires people to walk the path of truth and righteousness. He prayed for peace, prosperity, wisdom, and unity for the nation and the world, hoping that the light of Deepawali brings good health and happiness to all.(KINS)
