Mendhar Court complex ‘in dilapidated condition’; Lawyers urge administration to start construction work immediately

Jammu, Nov 13 (KINS): The Mendhar Court complex building is allegedly in a severely dilapidated condition, posing a serious risk to those who visit it daily.
Local lawyers have expressed deep concern, warning that the “structure could collapse at any time if urgent repairs or reconstruction are not undertaken”.
According to advocates practicing at the court, ‘although a tender for the construction of a new building has already been issued, the work has yet to commence’. They said the delay is hampering judicial proceedings and creating unsafe conditions for lawyers, staff, and the general public.
The legal fraternity as per news agency KINS has urged the administration to take immediate action to start the construction work without further delay, ensuring the smooth functioning of the court and the safety of everyone visiting the premises.(KINS)
