Renowned Social Figure of Tangmarg, Sheikh Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, Passes Away

Srinagar, Dec 12: A well-known teacher and prominent social and political figure of Tangmarg Sheikh Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, a resident of Lolpora Kunzer, presently living along the Tangmarg highway near the Wasan Karhama crossing, passed away on Monday morning after a prolonged illness.

His funeral prayers were offered in his native village, where a large number of people from various sections of society participated.
He was laid to rest with tearful eyes at the local graveyard.
Following the burial, condolence gatherings continued throughout the day at his residence, where senior police officials and people from different walks of life expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family, especially with his son, Sheikh Bilal Mohi-ud-Din, a senior officer in the Crime Branch Kashmir.

According to family sources, the fourth-day prayers (Chaharum) of the deceased will be observed on Thursday.
