KPDCL conducts Safety Equipment Distribution Program at IT&C Bemina
SRINAGAR, JANUARY 03: A Safety Equipment Distribution Programme was organized by Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) at Conference Hall of IT&C Division, Bemina Srinagar as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen electrical safety practices among field staff engaged in operation and maintenance of the power distribution network.
During the event, the Managing Director, KPDCL, Mahmood Ahmad Shah, stressed upon the need and importance of strict adherence to safety norms while working on electrical installations. He emphasized that safety of personnel is of utmost concern and proper use of safety gear is essential to prevent accidents for ensuring a secure working environment. A range of safety equipments were distributed among the concerned staff during the programme.
The initiative underscores KPDCL’s commitment towards promoting a culture of adopting safety and responsibility across all levels of its workforce.
The programme concluded with a collective resolve to maintain high safety standards while delivering reliable power supply to consumers.
Among others present on the occasion were Chief Engineer (Distribution) KPDCL, Er. Nisar Ahmad Lone, and the Chief Engineer (Planning & Procurement), KPDCL, Shurjeel Ghani Lalla along with other senior officers and officials of the Corporation.
