Displaced PoJK families protest in Jammu, seek liberation of occupied territory

Jammu, Jul 31 (KINS): Hundreds of displaced families from Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) on Friday staged a protest in Jammu, demanding the liberation of the occupied territory and its integration with India.

The protest, organised by SOS International and led by its chairman Rajiv Chuni, saw demonstrators raising slogans against Pakistan and carrying placards highlighting the plight of PoJK residents.

Chuni alleged that people in PoJK continue to face repression and exploitation under Pakistani control and urged the Government of India to work towards freeing the region. He also claimed that Pakistan was exploiting PoJK’s natural resources while denying local residents their rights and opportunities.

The protesters expressed solidarity with the people living in PoJK and reiterated their demand to return to their ancestral homes.(KINS)
